Hi friends! Today I’m taking you along for my modern french farmhouse spring home tour. I do truly love decorating for fall and Christmas, but Spring might be my favorite. There’s just something about warmer temps and seeing the sun more often that lifts my mood.
If there is anything you see along the way that you like, all items are linked where it says “Get The Look.” Now, without further ado, let’s get started on my modern french farmhouse spring home tour!
Entry
I like to keep this area pretty neutral as it is the first thing you see when you walk in. However, I did freshen it up a bit with a new throw pillow and chunky knit tassel throw. I also love the little pop of color that the faux fiddle leaf fig tree provides.

Formal Dining Room
My formal dining is to the right when you walk into my house, so it is also one of the first things you see. Simple elegance is the vibe I almost always strive for in here. For spring I added some beautiful new faux peonies (that look and feel so real!) and changed up the greenery as well.

Ohh I just loved these dried proteas. They were different than what I’d typically go for but something about caught my eye. The touch of pink is perfect for spring and summer.

Powder Bath
My powder bath was in dire need of “something.” I had kind of neglected it because I wasn’t sure which direction I wanted to go with it. One day… I’m hoping to put wallpaper in here. However, I did find some spring finds that I’m currently loving for a powder bath! That tree in the corner adds a little more personality to this room and then I just sprinkled a few other items here and there.
I love the look of amber bottles against white and I LOVE this brand. Milk + Honey is safe, non-toxic and their hand soap smells divine!
I immediately fell in love with these framed pictures. They are the perfect touch of sophisticated pink for spring.

Living Room
As far as the living room goes, I didn’t change up too much in here. I moved around the home beads, books, a few plants and that’s about it.
I did add this new green potted plant. It’s faux….but looks excellent. I like to consider myself a snob when it comes to picking out faux plants. They can’t actually look faux. I need them to look real but require zero of my attention. ๐
You may be noticing a common theme in my home. My boys asked why we have fake plants and fruit around our house. I said well…”I can barely keep you guys alive…I’m pretty certain that anything real that requires much of my attention would not survive at this point in life” ๐
I do have a life goal of having live plants in my home one day…. when my kids are out of the house. But we aren’t going to think about that right now. Until then..faux… all the way!

Kitchen
The kitchen! Yay! I love sprucing this area up. I was adamant about a white kitchen when we built our home four years ago. I wanted a neutral palette to work with. I knew I would add in all the textures and colors with decor.
For spring I added lemons in a bowl (yup, fake). Pink branches, peonies, and a cookbook on my cookbook stand that has a little pink in it.
Again with these bottles. I love them against the white.

Hearth Room
The hearth room….the most interesting and confusing room in my home. It’s hard to decorate this room and when building our home, I wanted to cut it out of the floor plan, but that wasn’t an option for us. Surprisingly enough….this is now our favorite room in the home.
It’s still and cozy and every member of our house escapes over here often, not only for a little peace and quiet, but also to enjoy a quick cat nap.
For spring, I added a plant and changed up the fireplace decor. This is actually a faux hanging plant (that looks very real). I just placed the top of this plant inside the large white vase and ta-da! Looks like it is growing out of there. It’s surely not though.
This art is from Deann Designs and it is surprisingly, the first and only true piece of art I own. Check her out. I love how she paints with her soul and every piece has a deep meaning behind it. For me, this painting reminded me of my childhood. I was raised on a farm and our barn looked very similar to this. It gives me warm fuzzies. ๐
Over on the right side of the fireplace, I kept it simple. I wanted to add a bit of height over here because on the left side there isn’t so much, therefore I had to get a little creative. A simple candlestick, faux greenery, and lavender, thrown into a small white plantar did the trick.

Master Bedroom
Welcome to our master bedroom. ๐ Come on in!

A few years ago when we started decorating this home, I knew I wanted our master to be bright, airy and neutral with pops of color. This pottery barn bedding is still going strong after four years and because it’s held up so well, I would buy it all over again.
For spring I added a few of those proteas that I had in the formal dining, and I also recently switched out our lamps. Our older ones were a little too small for the area whereas, the height of these new lamps was perfect.

Master Bathroom
In our master bathroom, the only thing I added for spring was the pink cherry blossom. I didn’t’ want too much in here. Just a small pop of pink.
Thank you so much for hanging around, and I hope you enjoyed my modern french farmhouse spring home tour. Perhaps this gave you a bit of inspiration for spring, and makes you want to start decorating.
