Welcome! I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m a Texas girl through and through, a boy mom, business owner, integrative nutritionist, and fitness professional with over 20 years of experience helping women feel strong, balanced, and confident in their bodies. I believe health should support your life, not consume it.
My background is rooted in movement and science. I earned my degree in Exercise & Sports Science from Texas State University, and early in my career I trained at the renowned Cooper Fitness Center in Dallas. Those years shaped how I coach today—prioritizing proper movement, longevity, and a deep respect for how the body is designed to work.
Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients in private clubs, fitness centers, in-home settings, and group environments. In 2012, I launched my first business, a fitness program for moms, during the season when my own boys were little. As life evolved, so did my work—and so did my understanding that fitness alone isn’t enough.
That realization led me back to school. In 2021, I became certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, allowing me to help clients look beyond calories and workouts. Stress, sleep, hormones, blood sugar balance, inflammation, and lifestyle habits all matter—and when those pieces come together, real change happens.
In 2022, I opened Poised Fitness in Gunter, Texas—a boutique studio built around low-impact, results-driven training. Our classes blend functional strength, Pilates-inspired fusion, mobility, and intelligent conditioning with one goal in mind: helping women build strength for real life while protecting their bodies for the long term.
Along the way, my work has been featured by D Magazine, Lifestyle Frisco, and Voyage Dallas, and I’ve had the opportunity to partner with brands I truly believe in. I’ve also poured my experience and philosophy into my nutrition book, Poised Health, and into digital fitness programs you’ll find here on the blog.

That word sits at the heart of everything I do. I don’t believe in extremes. I believe in consistency, education, and learning how to care for your body in a way that feels sustainable and empowering.
